Day 1-2Arrival in Islamabad, Pakistan

  • Arrive in Islamabad and rest to recover from your long flight.
  • Detailed briefing about the Gasherbrum II Expedition.

Day 3Flight to Skardu (2,230m)

  • Experience a breathtaking 45-minute mountain view flight to Skardu.
  • First glimpse of Nanga Parbat, K2, and other Himalayan & Karakoram Mountains.
  • Check into your hotel and prepare for the expedition.

Day 3-10Trekking to Base Camp

  • Drive to Askoli and trek through Braldu Gorge to reach Baltoro Glacier.
  • Trek through picturesque locations like Korfong, Bardumal, Paiju, Khoburtse, and Urdukas.
  • Acclimatization day and trek to Goro II, followed by a trek to Concordia (4,600m).
  • Reach Gasherbrum II Base Camp (5,000m) and begin the climbing period.

Day 11-54Climbing and Acclimatization Period

  • Climb Gasherbrum II, following the southwest spur route.
  • Camps at various altitudes, including Camp 1 (5,900m), Camp 2 (6,400m), and Camp 3 (7,200m).
  • Summit day, reaching the peak at 8,035 meters.
  • Enjoy panoramic views of Karakoram peaks, including K2, Broad Peak, and more.

Day 55-61Trek Back and Departure

  • Trek back to Khoburtse, Paiju, Jhola, and Askoli.
  • Drive back to Skardu and fly to Islamabad.
  • Contingency day in case of delays.
  • Departure day: Fly back home, concluding your Gasherbrum II Expedition.

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

Day 1-6: Islamabad, Skardu, Khaplu, Machlu, Shiger Valley Arrival in Islamabad, followed by exploration of key attractions. Flight to Skardu, then onwards to Khaplu, Machlu, and Shiger Valley, uncovering historical forts, mosques, and natural wonders.

Day 7-10: Skardu, Karimabad Hunza, Hopper Valley, Gulmit Drive to Karimabad Hunza, witnessing breathtaking landscapes en route. Explore Baltit Fort, Karimabad local bazaar, and Altit Fort. Discover Hopper Valley, Borith Lake, and Passu Village.

Day 11-13: Khunjerab Pass, Gilgit, Gupis Valley, Mastuj, Kalash Valley Full-day excursion to Khunjerab Pass, then travel to Gilgit, Gupis Valley, Mastuj, and Kalash Valley, capturing the essence of diverse cultures and scenic beauty.

Day 14-17: Kalash Valley, Chitral, Swat Valley, Peshawar Explore Kalash Valley, Rumbur Valley, and Chitral’s vibrant markets. Journey to Swat Valley, discovering its historical sites, and conclude the tour in the lively city of Peshawar.

Day 18: Islamabad Return to Islamabad, visiting Taxila Museum en route. Departure from Islamabad International Airport.
